Pematang Siantar

Pematang Siantar, also known as Pematangsiantar or Siantar, is a large district capital of 275,000 people. It is a rural agrarian town but has most of the amenities of a medium-sized city. It is about two hours from the KNO Medan airport, and about 2.5 hours from the city of Medan itself.
The town has a majority Christian population, but still has a large population of Muslims, a small population of Buddhists, and a smaller population of Hindus.
This city is surrounded by agriculture and mountains. This city is the major hub for traffic through this province, although there are a couple of smaller routes that bypass this city.
